With restrictions surrounding travel beginning to loosen you may be starting to think about your next trip abroad. We can help you plan with confidence with a visit to our Travel Clinic.
Why use our Travel Clinic?
With the excitement of dreaming about your perfect destination and all of great experiences you’ll have, it’s easy to not quite get around to some of the admin. Of course, there are some things you can’t ignore. You’ll need your passport, travel tickets and now many countries will require you to complete a Passenger Locator Form within 48 hours of travel (including when returning to the UK) along with some form of evidence of Covid status. Plenty to think about.
So you might forgive yourself if you delay or never get around to some of the preparations for travel that no one is going to check. After all you can travel without vaccinating yourself against infectious diseases and no one will bat an eyelid if you don’t take the healthcare essentials with you in case you get a common illness while away. That’s up to you.
Although these kind of things might not get checked would you really want to leave them to chance? In the UK we are lucky to have very low or no incidence of many diseases that still kill a high number of people around the world. Diseases like Malaria and Yellow Fever to name just two.
It can be hard to know how to prepare. Which diseases do you need to protect against for your next holiday? How do you go about getting the necessary vaccinations and tablets? What products should you take with you?
That’s where we come in. Our team of fully trained pharmacists are experienced in providing the knowledge, guidance, vaccinations, treatments and products that you need to make sure you have a great trip and bring back only memories. We can provide a wide range of travel clinic services including vaccinations, tablets, advice and products to get you ready to travel safely.

How we help
Although our minds are dominated by the idea of Covid vaccinations there are a wide range of vaccinations that you may need to protect against other infectious diseases when you travel abroad. We stock many of these vaccines and can often administer them at short notice.
You can check which travel vaccines we provide and the prices here.
A problem in over 100 countries, Malaria is a serious tropical disease that is spread by mosquitos. Just one bite can be enough. We can help you prepare using the A,B,C, D acronym which includes identifying the right kind of anti-malarial treatment and supplying the medicines you and your family need.
Travelling can be a little unpredictable and at times uncomfortable. Then when you arrive you might find that the exciting, unusual food and drink while abroad takes some getting used to. Or there is the climate taking its toll on our usually sun starved skin. We can advise you about some of the best ways to stay healthy while travelling and supply the kind of products to ease your suffering if you do find yourself under the weather.
