How long does it take to see results?
- In the 1st month we would expect to see on average 2-4kg of weight loss (with Mounjaro, diet and lifestyle changes).
Results vary depending on each individual but healthy weight loss is gradual. Sustained weight loss is one of the biggest challenges when it comes to achieving weight goals which is why our programme incorporates behaviour change. The programme focuses on key areas of health, including nutrition, exercise, and mindset.
What are the potential side effects of weight loss medication?
The most common side effects of Wegovy (GLP-1) and Mounjaro (GLP-1/GIP) medications are gastrointestinal including nausea, diarrhoea, stomach pain, and constipation. Who is weight loss medication suitable for?
Our weight loss programme is designed to help people who are overweight or obese to achieve a healthier weight.
Eligible patients: ages 18—74, BMI 27 and greater with underlying medical conditions OR tried other measures and has been unsuccessful.
Our clinicians will assess your suitability for the programme on an individual, case-by-case basis.
