Everything that you know and love is still here, delivered by the same team, at the same location but we’ve worked hard to develop what we do and how we do it to make sure we are offering you and your family the best possible care.
Since Broadway Pharmacy, Fulwood, Preston, was established in 1960 we’ve spent the first sixty years of our existence with one driving goal – to satisfy our customers. Through the decades we have been proud to care for our community, growing alongside many of our patients as they grew up and had families of their own. Generation after generation we’ve worked hard to achieve that goal.
In recent years the arrival of new leadership in the form of Michael Ball and Mark Oak, our pharmacist clinicians, to guide and develop our long established team has seen Broadway Pharmacy expand its horizons and become a national leader in community pharmacy. A strong vision for how pharmacists can care for communities is now at the heart of our work and our plans.
The new leadership team embarked on a transformation of Broadway Pharmacy at the end of 2019. It was clear that to deliver the kind of care that we aspired to we had to act to develop what we offer, how we offer it and to make sure we have the best facilities in which to do it. It’s really important to us the we are here for the long term.
An 18 month process of planning, designing, building and developing has seen Broadway Pharmacy reinvented. It has become Broadway Pharmacy with Cure Clinics. We have torn up the old rule book about how to deliver the traditional services you’d expect from a community pharmacy and gone all out to pursue a vision where we can care for you and your family in ways that will be new to you. Our premises have been redesigned, reconfigured and rebuilt to provide world class facilities to provide the highest standards of patient care across a range of health and wellness clinics.
The Dispensary has been updated and greatly expanded to ensure we can meet growing demand with the same level of accuracy, speed and skill you’ve come to expect. You’ll be able to collect your prescriptions 24/7 when it suits you.
Our updates aren’t just in the physical realm. Our team have trained to become independent prescribers which means that they are able to prescribe medicines that you will previously have had to see a doctor to obtain. We’ve also worked hard on our digital presence to make sure we are close by when you need us, whether that is on the corner of 331 Garstang Road, Fulwood or in the palm of your hand when looking at your screen.
We started this journey with you. Our driving goal is still to satisfy you, our customer. We asked you how we could do that better back at the end of November 2019 and many of you replied with great feedback. The new Broadway Pharmacy with Cure Clinics is the result. We are genuinely passionate to provide care that is second to none and we are excited about expanding the kinds of care we can provide for you over the coming months and years.
