The vaccines required for your destination depend on several factors, including the country you are visiting, the duration of your stay, and any specific health risks associated with that region. Common travel vaccines include Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Typhoid, Yellow Fever, and Rabies.

We recommend consulting with one of our clinical pharmacists to determine the necessary vaccines for your specific itinerary. Give us a call—Our friendly staff will guide you through the process and help you find a convenient time that fits your schedule.

It is recommended to get your travel vaccines at least 4 to 6 weeks before your trip. This allows your body enough time to develop immunity and for any potential side effects to resolve. Some vaccines may require multiple doses, so scheduling your appointment well in advance is essential for your health and peace of mind.

While many travel vaccines are not legally mandatory, certain countries may require proof of vaccination for entry, especially for diseases like Yellow Fever. Additionally, vaccinations are strongly recommended to protect your health while travelling. It is best to check the entry requirements of your destination and consult with one of our clinical pharmacists for personalised advice.

The duration of immunity provided by travel vaccines varies depending on the vaccine and individual factors. Some vaccines offer long-lasting protection, while others may require booster doses after a specific period. For example, the Hepatitis A vaccine provides immunity for at least 20 years, while Typhoid may require a booster every two years. Always consult one of our clinical pharmacists first to understand the longevity of your vaccinations.
